Acquerello rice of the Carnaroli Superfino variety is a unique specimen in the world. The entire growing and harvesting process has been overseen for many generations by the Rondolino family on the Tenuta Colombara rice field, in the centre of the province of Vercelli. Acquerello rice earned its success and renown through many generations of experience and, above all, by combining tradition with innovation. It is the refined processes of ageing, processing and germination that make Acquerello rice the best, healthiest and most delicious rice in the world. Even the most famous chefs rate Acquerello as number one. The grains are whole, compact and very flavoursome. Acquerello rice makes the best risottos.
