Real Conservera's razor clams come from fish markets that source their products mainly from the Ría de Arousa and Vigo (Cíes Islands), where the best quality fish and seafood are found.  

To ensure top quality, the clams undergo very careful selection, cleaning and processing. Firstly, the best specimens are processed by hand after being handpicked and then directly undergo a natural cleaning process in seawater to remove the sand. The clams are then shelled and preserved in a brine with lemon, onion, salt and bay leaf, one by one, by hand and with all the care and delicacy that this excellent product requires. 

We recommend tasting the clams straight from the can. Ideally, place the can in ice or the freezer 5-10 minutes before opening. A perfect pairing is Albariño white wine.
