This cava comes from vineyards by the Bitlles river in the Alt Penedès region near Barcelona, where the vines grow on highly calcareous soils. The Recaredo winery follows the principles of biodynamic agriculture, using only organic fertilisers and an ethical approach to environmental protection and the preservation of biodiversity. After the first fermentation and a subsequent two-week ageing in barrique barrels, the wine is laid down for 10 years in a cork-sealed bottle, where the second fermentation takes place. This incredibly elegant wine with fine bubbles is comparable to the very best champagnes. A unique delight for the senses. Hand-picked grapes preserve the fruit's excellent qualities.
