Raventós i Blanc, Textures de Pedra, D.O.Penedes, Cava, white sparkling wine, 0.75l

The white sparkling wine Raventós i Blanc Textures de Pedra, from the Penedès region, is made from three varieties: Xarello vermell, Sumoll and Bastard Negre. Strong red berries with an accent of spice, orange peel, buttery toast and floral aromas are underlined by an intense mineral nuance. A broad palate offering deeply concentrated citrus fruit, red berries and spicy ginger and chamomile flavours.  Raventós i Blanc Textures de Pedra is made from hand-picked grapes from vineyards more than 40 years old. Primary fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature, secondary fermentation in the bottle, and the minimum ageing period is 48 months. No dosage liqueur is added to the wine. The winery is mindful of the environment, so the cava can be classed among organic and biodynamic wines. Food pairing Raventós i Blanc Textures de Pedra is very versatile and works wonderfully as an aperitif as well as a digestif. We recommend serving it chilled to a temperature of 8-10°C.
