Raventós i Blanc Manuel Raventós Negra 2013 is Manuel Raventós's personal selection of the best grapes of this vintage. The cava is made from the Xarel.lo and Sumoll varieties. The wine has a clear, deep golden colour, fresh apple and mint tones, and you can also detect aromas of toast, butter and aniseed. It later rounds out with creamy tones and traces of creaminess. The result is a wonderfully complex bouquet. The first sip then surprises you with a pleasant freshness accompanied by a full fruity texture and a pleasant, fine fizz. A long, pleasantly bitter finish, typical of wines from Conca del Riu Anoia. Raventós i Blanc Manuel Raventós Negra 2013 is made from hand-picked grapes from vineyards more than 50 years old. The cava undergoes double fermentation and the total ageing period is more than 70 months. The winery is mindful of the environment, so the cava can be classed among organic and biodynamic wines. Food pairing Raventós i Blanc Manuel Raventós Negra 2013 is very versatile and works wonderfully as an aperitif as well as a digestif. We recommend serving it chilled to a temperature of 8-10°C.
