Raventós i Blanc De La Finca 2017 is made from the Xarel.lo, Macabeo and Parellada varieties. The cava has an elegant golden colour and a seductively captivating aroma with notes of citrus, peaches and lemongrass together with a delicate hint of bread and fresh butter, which later rounds out with creamy tones and traces of creaminess. The result is a wonderfully complex bouquet. The first sip then surprises you with its citrus texture and a pleasant, fine fizz. The long finish lets the notes of fresh fruit come perfectly to the fore. Raventós i Blanc De La Finca 2017 is made from hand-picked grapes from the Fòssils vineyards, more than 50 years old. The cava first undergoes primary fermentation in stainless steel vats and then secondary fermentation in the bottle. The total ageing period is more than  months. The winery is mindful of the environment, so the cava can be classed among organic and biodynamic wines. We recommend serving it chilled to a temperature of 8-10°C.  Ideal with grilled seafood and any kind of tapas. The Raventós i Blanc winery in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia comprises almost 90 hectares of vineyards stretching along forested hilltops. It has belonged to the Raventós family since 1497, where winemaking skill and tradition have been passed down from generation to generation for more than 5 centuries. The foundations of the modern winery were laid here by Josep Raventós Fatjó, who in 1872 also produced the first sparkling cava wine from grapes grown in the vineyard. Since then, each subsequent generation has devoted itself to growing varieties for sparkling wines and to their production. The winery now produces wines of top-class quality, in which centuries of tradition, the owners' skill and enthusiasm, and the unmistakable character of the region they come from are all clearly evident.
