Can Sumoi Xarel·lo is a wine made from the Xarel·lo variety.  It ages for 3 months in stainless steel tanks. It is clean and bright, with a clear straw-yellow colour. The nose shows fresh white fruit, apples and pears with floral tones and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it is powerful and lively at the same time, with a long, refreshing finish and a creamy consistency.   Can Sumoi is a new farm for natural wines from Raventós i Blanc. The 400-hectare farm sits at an altitude of 600 metres. It is planted with 20 hectares of vineyards, with the native varieties Parellada, Sumoll and Xarel·lo. The farm also has 3 rural houses from the 18th century and an old winery. Here Pepe Raventós, oenologist and winemaker, wishes to make natural wines with authentic origins. He makes his wines based on rural traditions and without adding any oenological additives.   Can Sumoi is about producing natural high-altitude wines with the least possible intervention in all winemaking processes. Hand harvesting, with everything pressed at the winery. Clean wines processed according to a minimal-intervention protocol, without oenological additives or sulphites.
