Very old and unique vineyards in Paramos, Valladolid were selected to create a complex and balanced wine full of flavour and freshness.
The grape varieties are:
75% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon
The Tempranillo grapes come from vineyards located in the villages of Mucientes (vineyard planted in 1924), Pedrosa del Rey (1945) and Valbuena de Duero (1945).
The Garnacha grapes come from the same vineyard as the Tempranillo grapes from Pedrosa del Rey.
The Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a small village in the Salvueros valley, located in Mucientes (Valladolid)
The wine ages for 17 months in French oak barrels of 225 and 500 l.
