55% Tempranillo, 45% Garnacha
The Tempranillo grapes come from vineyards located in the villages of Mucientes (vineyard planted in 1941), Pedrosa del Rey (1955) and Valbuena del Duero (1945)
The Garnacha grapes come from the same vineyard as the Tempranillo grapes from Pedrosa del Rey.
The wine ages for 11 months in French oak barrels of 225 and 500 l. Minimum bottle ageing is 9 months
