Awards: The wine regularly receives high ratings from international critics. For example, the 2021 and 2022 vintages received 93 points from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. It is long regarded as one of the best "entry-level" wines from Priorat, upholding the high standard of the Mas Martinet winery.

Grape variety: a cuvée composed mainly of Garnacha (Grenache) and Syrah, supplemented with a smaller proportion of Carignan, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Vineyard: Located on llicorella slate bedrock and oriented to the north, which ensures slower ripening of the grapes and greater freshness. The vines are grown organically, with low yields and an emphasis on terroir.

Ageing: Martinet Bru ages for approximately 13 to 18 months. Ageing takes place mainly in large concrete tanks (4,000 litres) and partly in used French oak barrels of 300 litres. This approach preserves the purity of the fruit and terroir, without excessive influence from the wood.

Taste and aroma: The aroma is intense and fruity, with notes of blackcurrant, plum, liquorice, rosemary and mineral elements typical of the slate bedrock. On the palate the wine is full yet fresh, with velvety tannins, an elegant structure and a long mineral finish. The style is balanced and modern, yet still deeply rooted in the terroir of Priorat.

Food pairing: Goes wonderfully with red meats, grilled lamb, game, charcuterie and mature cheeses. Thanks to its fruity freshness it also pairs well with Mediterranean dishes such as stewed aubergine, ratatouille or roasted mushrooms. The ideal serving temperature is 14–16 °C.
