This sauce comes from the workshop of the family-run Catalan company Mar-Tret, which has been making natural products free of artificial additives, colourings and preservatives since 1977. Chimichurri is made using a traditional method, without chemicals, with an emphasis on the freshness and quality of every ingredient.
The ingredients list only what belongs there: extra virgin olive oil, wine vinegar, garlic, parsley, oregano, chilli, salt and lemon juice.
Thanks to this, chimichurri has a fresh flavour with a mild kick and a herby aroma, which pairs wonderfully with grilled and roasted meats, fish, vegetables or bread. The sauce can also be used as a marinade, a seasoning during roasting, or as a ready-made cold dip for serving.
Once opened, we recommend keeping it in a cool place and using it within a few days. It tastes best at room temperature, when all the flavours of the herbs and garlic fully develop.
