Majorero goat's cheese is produced on the Canarian island of Fuerteventura and has the Protected Designation of Origin. It is a fatty cheese with an intense aroma and a predominant acidity, which becomes more savoury as it matures.

The cheese is made from Majorero goat's milk. The Majorero goat is a hardy and resilient animal that produces thick, aromatic and fatty milk. It is recognised as one of the most productive goats in the world, with a milk yield of up to two and a half litres per day. The excellent quality of its milk, together with the skill of its master cheesemakers, is the main secret behind the production of Majorero cheese.

A delight for the palate, Majorero cheese brings the incomparable taste of a rich cheese-making tradition.

The cheese is compact on the cut, with a creamy texture and a sharp, slightly spicy flavour.
Cheeses intended for longer storage can be brushed with oil, paprika or gofio, giving them unique characteristics.

Majorero semicurado is matured for 21 to 60 days. This is a cheese suitable for aperitif, which is a great match for fine wine and its aroma and taste make it appealing for any occasion.
