Chorizo is a traditional Spanish fermented and dried sausage made from quality Iberian pork and fat, typically with a coarser texture and an intense aroma. Its characteristic flavour comes from a blend of sweet, sometimes hot, smoked pimentón paprika, which gives it its typical red colour, along with garlic, salt and sometimes delicate herbal notes such as oregano or thyme. The result is an aromatic sausage with a full, rounded flavour and juicy texture, an icon of Spanish gastronomy.
Joselito, Chorizo de Bellota, sausage
Joselito Chorizo Ibérico de Bellota is among the absolute top tier of Spanish charcuterie.
It comes from black Iberian pigs that roam freely in oak groves and feed mainly on acorns (bellotas). Thanks to this, and to aromatic herbs such as rosemary or thyme, the chorizo is exceptionally fragrant, delicate and rich in flavour - with a perfectly balanced combination of smoked paprika, Iberian meat and naturally healthy unsaturated fats.
- Unique flavour and quality – Each piece of chorizo is matured for a long time using traditional methods, guaranteeing an intense aroma, a juicy texture and an unbeatable purity of flavour.
- A premium ingredient for cooking – Chorizo lends striking depth and colour to dishes: tapas, pasta, soups, sauces, potato dishes and modern cuisine alike. Just a small amount is enough to give a dish character.
- Healthier fats – Thanks to a diet rich in acorns, chorizo has a high content of oleic acid, typical of olive oil, which supports healthy cholesterol and makes the charcuterie naturally easy to digest.
- Natural composition – no preservatives, colourings or chemicals. Just high-quality Iberian meat, mild paprika, salt and time.
- Aromatic and full-flavoured – ideal for gourmets seeking the authentic taste of Spain at the highest possible quality.

The company JOSELITO has more than 150 years of tradition in producing jamón. Today the hams are made exactly as the great-grandfathers of today's producers made them. The entire production process is under very careful control. Over time, their uniqueness has won them fans not only in Spain. The company owns thousands of hectares of oak groves in the area around Salamanca, where the black, semi-wild pigs graze.
The company is almost obsessed with controlling the quality of the pigs' lives. Iberian pigs live as if they were in the wild, are content and experience no stress. Each pig has around 3 hectares of land at its disposal. The acorns they eat contain large amounts of unsaturated fatty acids. These help reduce bad cholesterol. That is why meat from Iberian pigs is healthy.
