Paleta serrana comes from white pigs. It is the pig's front leg, the shoulder. It reaches high quality. It has a unique delicate flavour, achieved through drying under natural conditions.  Mould may also appear on the surface of the ham. This mould is not a cause for concern or a reason for a complaint. It is a completely natural part of the ham's ageing process. You can simply remove the mould with a cloth and a little oil, wiping it off the ham. You can read more about mould on jamón here. The shelf life of the hams is approx. 1 year if the ham is not sliced open. Once sliced, we recommend consuming it as soon as possible, as the ham is juiciest and most fragrant freshly cut. We recommend storing a sliced ham for a maximum of 2 months. The price may change if it doesn't match the weight of the product. Origin: Spain Weight: 4-4.5kg
