After studying oenology in France, Jaume Gramona returned home with a new love for Chardonnay. His first vineyard from the 1980s was planted with precisely this variety. Years later he produced his first still wine: Mas Escorpí, named after the place of its origin.

The white, dry wine Gramona Mas Escorpí, coming from the D.O. Penedés wine region, is made from the Chardonnay grape variety. The adaptability of this variety is its strong point - in Mas Escorpí it is very elegant yet expressive. The wine will enchant you with its fresh, full body and very intense citrus flavour with subtle minerality. The aroma itself is full of fresh tropical fruit, green apples and pears. A pleasant acidity with a long finish. It is a perfectly fresh wine, ideally enjoyed with starters, salads, vegetables and fish.
The soil is cultivated organically and biodynamically. The winery employs sustainable practices, all of which helps preserve a rich and diverse ecosystem that is beneficial to the environment, and therefore also to the grapes used to make the wines.
We are the direct importer of this product to the Czech Republic.
