Gramona, Celler Batlle, D.O.Penedés, Cava, white sparkling wine, 0.75l

Gramona Celler Batlle is made from two varieties, Xarel.lo and Macabeu, which give the sparkling wine an intense and complex flavour. Fruity tones of peach, apple and quince are present. The freshness of the wine is underlined by lemon peel and a light aroma of pine. Brioche, hazelnuts, almonds, pralines and vanilla are signs of quality ageing. The Cava is suitable for laying down.  The grapes are hand-picked and the whole production is a craft process. The wine ages more than 100 months in bottles, which remain sealed with a cork throughout their rest in the cellars.  Food pairing The Cava will pair wonderfully with an entire tasting menu. It is very elegant and versatile, so it certainly won't spoil any special moment. We recommend serving it chilled at a temperature of 8-10°C.  The Gramona winery is a very old family business, whose Cava is highly regarded by experts and recognised in Spain as the Rolls Royce among Cavas. It also takes the environment into consideration, and the Cava can therefore be classed among organic and biodynamic wines.
