El Maestro Sierra Oloroso 15 Años is a Jerez-style wine. Its base is made from the Palomino variety, fortified with wine of 18º alcohol. The sherry spent 15 years in barrels, causing a slow loss of liquid. This loss gave the sherry structure and complexity. It is a dry sherry with an aroma of hazelnuts and Brazil nuts. The aroma is earthy, of dried mushrooms. This earthy aroma is, on the other hand, balanced by the scent of bitter oranges and fresh figs. It has a delicate scent of caramel and spice. On the palate, medium body and a surprising lightness prevail.

El Maestro Sierra Oloroso 15 Años is a Jerez-style wine. Its base is made from the Palomino variety, fortified with wine of 18º alcohol. The sherry underwent oxidative ageing in 500 l barrels using the criaderas and soleras system. The sherry spent 15 years in barrels (bota), which caused a slow, steady loss of liquid. This loss gives the sherry structure and complexity.
It is a dry sherry with an aroma of hazelnuts and Brazil nuts. The aroma is of dried mushrooms. This earthy aroma is, on the other hand, balanced by the scent of bitter oranges and fresh figs. It has a delicate scent of caramel and spice. On the palate medium body and a surprising lightness prevail. A perfect balance of acidity, mild caramel sweetness and delicate bitterness of dried herbs and orange. The finish carries hints of minerals.
We recommend serving at room temperature. It pairs wonderfully with red meats.
