Vegatoro's black olives in a natural brine are a wonderful addition to a vegetable salad or a glass of good wine.
Cuquillo is a rare, entirely natural, uncoloured black olive variety from southern Spain. The olives are picked almost ripe, so they display a wide range of colours from dark brown to black. They are notable for their fairly soft, oily texture and delicious flavour with a slightly bitter note.
Olives are a significant source of vitamins A and E, iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium. They also contain unsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants, which help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and cancer.
