Aloers is a very lively white wine from the Catalan winery Celler Credo. The Xarel-lo grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, guaranteeing high quality. After the wine macerates for several hours together with the skins and stems, fermentation takes place with native yeasts from the Celler Credo vineyards, which are behind the success of the finest terroir wines. This is followed by bâtonnage, which lasts one month and gives the wine its characteristic structure and finesse. Finally, the wine ages for 6 months. Aloers aims for the fullest possible expression of terroir, so the winemaking involves as little intervention as possible. This is also why natural sediment may appear in the bottles. The wine received 92 points from the world-renowned wine critic Robert Parker. It pairs perfectly with fish dishes, risottos and grilled seafood. Celler Credo is a Catalan winemaking project whose leitmotif is the Mediterranean Xarel-lo variety in its many forms. The vines are grown without chemical fertilisers or pesticides, and traditional methods inherited from previous generations are followed in the winemaking. The result is honest wines that become chroniclers of the region's history. According to Celler Credo itself, it is a dialogue between man, variety and soil - a dialogue that has nothing to hide, and on the contrary has a lot to say.
