Foie gras is one of the most luxurious delicacies - it is a fatty duck liver.
Malvasia lets the ducks live in a free-range area, then the ducks are confined to a room where they are air-conditioned to simulate the onset of winter. The ducks begin to overfeed themselves to ensure they have enough nutrients for the long flight to warmer landscapes. After a few weeks, the duck's liver will have enlarged fivefold.

This practical version of foie gras can be served on toasted bread or made into fancy cubes or balls.
Remove the foie gras from the fridge and leave them at room temperature for 5 to 20 minutes before serving to get all their properties.
We recommend pairing with red or dessert wines.
