Gorka Izagirre

The creation of white wine txakoli was once a common tradition in the Basque Country. In 2005 our founders and members of the family wanted to return this vineyard tradition to the Bay of Biscay. Michelin Star's elder Eneko Atxa and his uncle Gorka Izagirre introduced a project that united the best regional gastronomy and preserved local varieties of grapes. Their goal was the use of modern technologies and sustainable techniques, while maintaining traditions and roots.

Today, the son of Gorka and enologist José Ramón Calvo continue to work on this dream by creating a white wine with a grace he owns. They bring the best grape qualities, preserve local grape varieties and basque txakoli tradition and culture so that everything can be shared with the world.
