When you reach for a chilled bottle of rosé, you're usually looking for a light, fruity, clean wine with bright red fruit, crisp acidity and freshness. Rioja Rose Moraza is just that. But don't be fooled, this is a quality organic wine made with the love and care typical of the Moraza family winery.
The Tempranillo grapes are immediately pressed after hand-picking, followed by spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks. The resulting wine is neither filtered nor clarified and bottled.
The rose has a beautiful sparkly colour, and the taste has notes of fresh red berries, tart cherries and wild herbs.
This wine is perfect for hot summer days and hanging out with friends. But it is also perfect with fish, seafood, exotic and spicy dishes.
Unlike many modern Riojas that are adapted to the international market, Bodegas Moraza uses purely traditional methods to produce a fresh, less oaky wine with authentic characteristics. Instead of blending grapes from different vineyards to create the familiar flavors of a conventional Rioja, the wines are the result of the complexity of terroir.
