Bodegas Tradicion PX VORS is very old wine with an average age of forty years. It is a pure wine, non blended, non caramelized and non colored offering unique characteristics. It is interesting when compared with our PX VOS, because being the same wine with different age the differences are noticeable. Very intense in palate, with more concentrated and complex aromas, with a higher degree of viscosity, made this wine even enjoyable for those who are not sweet wine fans.
Tasting notes:
Nose: It is very fresh at the beginning, and we appreciate immediately after nosing the type of wine we are going to taste. We will find more evolved notes of licorices, tabacco smoke, roasted hazelnuts, Christmas pudding, raw sugar and coffee liquor.
Color: Completely opaque, with iodized ribbons, very dark mahogany and orange fringes.
Palate: It´s a liquorish wine, very agreeable because of the natural sweetness, not cloying, viscous and unctuous. At the beginning of the tasting we will find dried prunes, balsamic notes, licorices, flan caramel and toffee. Its finish is a bit spicy, but the aftertaste is like milk caramel spread chocolate bar.
