The beauty of this wine relies in its concentration and purity, outrageous intensity, a very unique wine which has reached the limit of what a wine from Jerez can offer.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Its cleanliness of aroma shows the purity of the style. It requires a long and relaxing tome for nosing, and in different stages we are going to find very intense smoked aromas, peat, leather, licorices and old noble wood furniture. It is a wine that has bitter aromas, but also beef stock, soy souce, shoe cream, black olive seed, balsamic notes and angostura.
Color: old mahogany, shiny iodized fringes
Palate: It is a strong wine difficult at the beginning but which invites to retaste. All of its power is shown on the palate, with and outstanding complexity. A very high and intense concentration may be found, with gentle and intense bitter notes. A very saline wine, with beef stock finish, aged tea, soy sauce and angostura. It is very persistent in the palate with a very intense finish which reflects what it was perceived on the nosing phase.
