An easy-drinking, fresh and light orange wine. Moraza's Cuvée is a delicious aromatic orange wine made from white Viura grapes.
The hand-picked grapes then undergo natural fermentation with local yeasts. Maceration on the skins takes only a few days to extract the aromatics and tannins for the resulting orange wine.
The bright orange colour of the wine suggests that the flavours are mainly orange fruits and citrus fruits such as oranges, grapefruit, apricots and peaches, combined with hints of honey. Nevertheless, the wine is not too sweet, but pleasantly light like a summer sunset.
Enjoy it with paella on the terrace or with olives and cheese.
Unlike many modern Riojas that are adapted to the international market, Bodegas Moraza uses purely traditional methods to produce a fresh, less oaky wine with authentic characteristics. Instead of blending grapes from different vineyards to create the familiar flavors of a conventional Rioja, the wines are the result of the complexity of terroir.
