This fine red cherry wine is produced by the Dominio de Atauta winery, located in DO Ribera del Duero. Unlike other wines from this area, it is grown on a small area in the Atauta Valley, whose main feature is sandy soil with pebbles. This soil is nutrient-rich and at the same time accumulates a lot of heat, which makes the wine mature longer and offers the complexity of flavor and aroma. The long tradition of local winery is reflected in the manual harvest of wine and its further processing. After maceration and fermentation, the wine is stored in French oak casks for 18 months.
