The wine is made from the white varieties Treixadura, Godello, Doña Blanca and Palomino. They are old vineyards of small production, where the harvest takes place exclusively by hand. Only natural yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine is then aged for 10 months in barriques of various sizes. Telmo Rodríquez is a Spanish winery founded in 1994. He has a worldwide reputation as a pioneer supporting Spanish winemaking, a traveling oenologist and a "driving wine-maker". He earned this reputation mainly due to the fact that he travels for wines to individual regions in order to then produce wines from a single harvest using only the native varieties of the given region.
