Telmo Rodríguez, El Velado, D.O. Rioja, red wine, 0,75l Telmo Rodríguez El Velado is an exceptional red wine from the La Rioja region. The wine is made from Tempranillo and Garnacha and a few other older (also white) varieties, and the grapes come from an old vineyard with very little production, so it's not surprising that only 507 bottles were produced. It is a clean and youthful fruity wine, in which the aroma of ripe raspberries and plums prevails. In the taste, you can feel soft and fresh tannins that stretch through the wine like a spider's web, in the finish more pronounced spices and juicy cherries and raspberries.

The wine is ideal with stew, tartare, game and stewed lamb.

Telmo Rodríquez is a Spanish winery founded in 1994. He has a worldwide reputation as a pioneer supporting Spanish winemaking, a traveling oenologist and a "driving wine-maker". He earned this reputation mainly due to the fact that he travels for wines to individual regions in order to then produce wines from a single harvest using only the native varieties of the given region. In addition, he devotes special care to the restoration of forgotten vineyards. The Telmo Rodríquez brand reflects an immense love for wine and good winemaking.
Telmo Rodríguez is part of the Bodega Lanziego project, which started in 1998 in the town of Lanziego with the aim of returning to its roots. A place with a beautiful landscape and a climate ideal for the production of purely local wine from Rioja. The result is limited production of high quality wines.
