Motor blanc is a white wine made from grapes of the almost extinct indigenous Maldorian grape variety Prensal, also known as "Moll". The vines of this variety grow on clay soil rich in iron, which gives the resulting wine a slight salinity.
After careful hand harvesting, a three-stage production process takes place, with 35 % of the vintage undergoing carbonic maceration, 35 % macerating for four days at a controlled temperature and 30 % in 335 litre clay amphorae, called tinajas.
Motor blanc is the perfect 'thirst-quencher', light and easy to drink. In the glass, it has a beautiful lemon yellow colour with coppery highlights, and the aroma brings white fruits such as peach, pear, melon piel de sapo, which gradually give way to aromas of herbs. On the palate it is very light and fresh, with a slight salinity with a slightly chalky finish.
As we mentioned, Motor blanc is great to enjoy just on its own in hot weather, or paired with classic Mediterranean specialities such as fish and seafood, light pasta, salads or poultry.
