Artadi Viñas de Gaín Blanco is a white wine made from the Viura grape variety from several vineyards located in the municipalities of Laguardia and Elvillar at an altitude of over 450 metres, mostly on clay-calcareous soils.
The grapes are harvested by hand and picked directly from the vineyard. After cellaring, they are partially fermented in barrels for approximately 30 days. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is left for 2 months in stainless steel tanks with fine lees.
The result is a clean, bright wine that exudes aromas of fresh fruit in the glass along with lemon, balsamic and toasty notes and hints of baking. On the palate, it is fresh, fruity and unadorned, lively, with volume and very good acidity.

Bodegas Artadi was founded in Laguardia in 1985 as 'Cooperative Cosecheros Alaves' under the leadership of Juan Carlos Lopez de Lacalle. It was an association of a group of growers who wanted to work together on a business project based on the wine wealth of the La Rioja Alavesa region. They wanted to prove that carbonic maceration can also produce great wines, and they succeeded.
The history of Artadi is linked to the memory and stories of the people who helped to found the winery and make it what it is today. Based on passion and respect for the land and the vineyards.
