Viñedos de Páganos

The Eguren family founded this winery in 1998, amid the modernization of the Rioja area. It is located in Laguardia, under the protective barrier of the eastern end of Sierra Cantabria and at the border of the Basque province of Alava, which is part of Rioja Alavesa. One of the most striking features of Viñedos de Páganos is its underground cellars. Dredged in the rock provide optimal conditions for wine ripening.

Despite its small production (about 60,000 bottles), which comes from two vineyards, it serves as a logistics center for the whole Eguren group.
