Sara Pérez y René Barbier, Partida Pedrer Rosat, D.O. Priorat, rose wine, 0,75l Unconventional and very complex wine, One of the most fascinating rosé you have ever tasted. It creates excellent exquisite - expressive and dry roses that are both delicate and incredibly classy.

The wine is produced by René Barbier and Sara Perez. They started this new project together in 2001, when they bought a small vineyard called El Bellvisos (Bella Vista - beautiful view). This remarkably steep vineyard has been neglected for over 40 years, yet it is well situated and offers significant potential. René and Sara's goal has always been to produce wine that was in harmony with nature, and the vineyard, which has not witnessed chemical use for so long, provided just that opportunity. From the beginning, René and Sara tried to make wines from organically grown fruit with the least possible intervention. This is an admirable approach and can sometimes be very challenging, but from a few lines above you will undoubtedly get the impression that these two will not avoid any challenge!

It is a natural wine, which means that sulfur dioxide was not used in the production of the wine. Sulfur acts to protect the wine from oxidation and, among other properties, also has antibacterial benefits. The production of pure, purely natural wines requires skills and determination.

The wine is a Garnacha variety. All grapes were harvested at the same time and pressed directly, and the juice was fermented in well-flavored, neutral 300- and 600-liter barrels, where it fermented with indigenous yeast for six months and then bottled when the fermentation was complete.

Very pale shade, light orange tone, the scent suggests hints of a wild hedge, all decent, with a subtle creamy tone.

On the palate, you can easily forget that it is rosé, because it boasts a remarkable complexity - discreet tones of juicy summer berries are associated with herbs and spices, but nothing exaggerates.

Priorat is not characterized by high acidity, but remains fresh, focused and lively, but the mineral acidity is again beautifully integrated. There is no lack of energy. 

The palate has a silky sense of depth, delicious saliva, intense, but by no means heavy.

And then, at the end, a certain spicy tone of blood orange provides a citrus outburst, which leads to a long positive conclusion. Simply put, this creates an excellent balance - bold, dry pink with real intrigue. Delicate and incredibly classy.

We recommend serving at a temperature of 10 ° C.

Excellent with risotto, grilled chicken, cold cuts, pasta with meat sauce.
