A special selection of wines from the Ribera del Duero region

TO. Ribera del Duero is a wine region in the north of Spain in Castilla and León. The rocky terrain and mild climate are typical for this area. High daytime temperatures and cooler nights during the vine growth period help optimal accumulation of the right aroma in the grapes. Also important is the strong wind in the cold winters, which enables ideal conditions for fermentation, when the excellent fruitiness for which the wines are famous is achieved. The clay and limestone components under the top layer of soil give the local wine its typical character.
The Consejo Regulador sets strict conditions for wine aging. Ribera del Duero wines are beautifully aromatic and full-bodied wines that delight connoisseurs and collectors alike.
Red wines must meet the following criteria: at least 11.5% alcohol and the basis must be at least 75% of the Tinta del País or Tempranillo variety. The remaining varieties can be Cabernet-Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Garnacha Tinta.
