Sangría , , , ,

Sangría is a refreshing Spanish summer drink traditionally, but in winter you can make a delicious hot sangría. It is usually made with red wine, juice, fruit and a small amount of brandy, but white wine and cava can also be used. The name sangría is derived from the word sangre - blood, because of its deep red colour. Only drinks produced in Spain or Portugal can be sold in Europe under the name sangría.
