This fine red cherry wine with purple tones is produced by the Dominio de Atauta winery, located in DO Ribera del Duero. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of between 950 and 1,000 m and their age is between 20 and 30 years. Due to the specific climate, the wine is exposed to long and cold winters and rather short summers. The long tradition of local winery is reflected in the manual harvest of wine and its further processing. The first fermentation takes place at controlled temperature between 26 and 28 ° C in stainless steel barrels, then matured for 3 months in barrels of French oak.
