Vermouth is a fortified wine originating in Italy. It is made from light wine that is sourced and an alcoholic herbal extract and spice is added. The wormwood is the right ingredient, the cinnamon, cloves, hyssop, hops, fennel, cardamom or medical angel can be used for flavoring. In addition to the classic white vermouth, pink and red are also produced. Served with lemon as an aperitif, it is also a popular addition to cocktails.

Yzaguirre is a vermouth family-run enterprise in Spain for nearly a hundred years. Its popularity reaches far beyond the Spanish border. The company was founded in 1884 under the name of Yzaguirre i Simó de Reus in Morell (Tarragona), Spain, one of the oldest in Spain.

Yzaguirre excels in this field because it currently has a very wide range of high quality vermouths. The brand is also distinguished by its alcoholic strength of 18% and its beverage ripening in oak barrels. This form of maturation allows the obtained vermouth to be stabilized in aroma and color and to give you such a feeling in the mouth that achieves a balance between initial flavor, alcohol and its acidic flavor.
