These excellent mussels come from the Rias Baixas region of Galicia, which is known for its high quality seafood. After being carefully selected and thoroughly rinsed, the mussels are steamed and then fried in olive oil to remove the byssus, the fibres that hold them to the substrate. The mussels are then hand-packed and marinated in a marinade made from natural ingredients that bring out their exquisite flavour.

Mussels are best enjoyed with a fine white wine or vermouth, or you can use them to spice up your festive table as an appetizer.
