Artuke, Paso Las Manas, D.O. Rioja, red wine, 0,75l Artuke Paso Las Mañas is a wine from the Rioja region made from the Tempranillo variety. It comes from a 3.9 h vineyard in one of the highest areas of Samaniego at an altitude of 730m above sea level. The soil here is very stony and calcareous. Paso Las Mañas is an intense, delicious and fruity wine. The aroma is very fruity, we identify red fruits, aromatic herbs and floral notes in the wine. On the palate it is light, well structured with a long finish.

Artuke Paso Las Mañas is a wine made from the Tempranillo variety 100%. It comes from a vineyard of 3.9 h in one of the highest areas of Samaniego at an altitude of 730 m above sea level. The soil here is very stony and calcareous. The grapes are harvested manually in 20 kg boxes. After the fermentation of the wine, spontaneous malolactic fermentation takes place in 500 liter French oak barrels. Maturation takes place in the same barrels and in 35 hectoliter tanks. In the Artuke wine we find characteristics that are associated with one specific place in the Spanish region of RIoja - Baños de Ebro. The wine was created by the brothers Arturo and Kike, who are the next fifth generation of winemakers and are at the same time the heart and soul of this small cellar in which everything is done as if it were old fashioned with respect for the previous generations and experience. Arturo and Kike take care of the wine, from the vines to all the details of the collection and production techniques, in which they follow the tried and tested reparative procedures. Artuke Winery never had the ambition to join the plethora of cellars in the Spanish Rioja region, but from the beginning it was clear to them that there was no better strategy than to be continuously in the vineyard and following their passion. According to their estimates, they spend up to 98% of their time in the vineyards, which, as wine connoisseurs know, is crucial to the final result. Production is limited due to 22 hectares divided into 32 mini plots. The goal is for each parcel to reflect the identity of the area as best as possible. The vineyards are cared for daily with the aim of finding the best fruits that give the wine complexity and various interesting notes. The orientation of the vineyards, the altitude, the climate and the timing, everything is taken into account by Arturo and Kike and the result is excellent.
