The legendary Vega Sicilia winery traces its roots back to the 19th century. The current project was founded by the Alvarez family in 1982. Nyni owned around 140 hectares of vineyards around the Duero River, on which Tempranillo varieties are grown depending on soil composition, age of vineyards and climatic conditions, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
