The Parellada variety is mainly used in combination with Macabeo and Xarel.lo to produce cava. On its own, it has an aroma of flowers and green apple. Volaina is a very fine and fresh wine with lively acidity and good taste.

The Parellada variety is mainly used in combination with Macabeo and Xarel.lo to produce cava. On its own, it has an aroma of flowers and green apple. Volaina is a very fine and fresh wine with lively acidity and good taste. It is produced in two organic vineyards in Pla de Manlleu (Els Pinyers vineyard - winemaker Jaume Bargans and Sant Miquel vineyard - winemaker Jaume Nin).
Its creation is the result of a commitment between Celler Credo and the Granollers Museum of Natural Sciences. This association supports research and dissemination of the importance of butterflies in the ecosystem as bioindicators of climate change, pollinators and food sources for other species.
