4Kilos, D.O.Mallorca, red wine, 0,75l 4 Kilos is a premium red wine from the eponymous Mallorcan winery based in the town of Felanitx. The wine is made from native Callet grapes, which grow on clay loam soils with a high iron content, giving the wine its typical complexity. 4 Kilos is a juicy and fresh wine with aromas of ripe black fruits accompanied by balsamic, spicy and mineral notes. On the palate it is very pleasant and tasty, with elegant acidity, fine tannins and a long finish.

4 Kilos is a delicious red wine from the eponymous Mallorcan winery. The Callet grapes come from vineyards between 20 and 45 years old in the south and north of the island. They are picked and harvested entirely by hand, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and wooden barrels at a temperature of between 20 and 30 °C and then aged in Alier barriques for 12 months. The result is a wine of premium quality, medium body and good acidity, which makes it fresh and persistent on the palate. In short, the true embodiment of the Callet variety.

We recommend serving the wine at 16 °C and decanting before serving. It goes well with game, beef, lamb and mature cheeses. 

The 4 Kilos winery is located in the town of Felanitx and its name comes from the colloquial expression for 4 million pesetas.
